We are thrilled to announce some outstanding wins for Loch Lomond Whiskies at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2023.
Against a record-breaking field of over 5,500 entries from around the globe, Loch Lomond Whiskies secured a total of 17 medals, including an impressive 8 double golds.
Among the expressions that were awarded Double Gold accolades are Loch Lomond Classic, Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Inchmurrin, Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Inchmoan, Loch Lomond Single Grain Coopers Collection, Loch Lomond Open Special Edition 2023, Loch Lomond Open Course Collection 2023, Loch Lomond 8 Year Old Madeira, and Loch Lomond 18 Year Old Inchmurrin.
The SFWSC is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious spirits competitions in the world, judged by renowned experts in their fields with decades of industry experience. This year, the SFWSC judged 5,500 entrants across 31 separate categories, and through a rigorous judging process, including a blind tasting, each entry is considered on its own merit. A Double Gold is awarded to those spirits that receive a Gold medal rating by all members of the judging panel.
