Loch Lomond Whiskies at the 147th Open at Carnoustie

Loch Lomond Whiskies celebrated the first year of its partnership with The R&A with a hugely successful sponsorship activation programme for The 147th Open at Carnoustie.

A bespoke on-site Loch Lomond Whiskies bar hosted spectators and VIPs each day, with guests able to enjoy the exclusive golf cocktails created especially for the week. The Barry Burn, Lomond Lemonade and Dramble proved popular in the sunshine, whilst whisky drinkers took advantage of the full Loch Lomond range.

Brand ambassadors Colin Montgomerie and Paul Lawrie took part in exclusive Q&A sessions throughout the week alongside broadcaster Anna Whiteley, giving Loch Lomond Whiskies guests and spectators their insight into the famous Carnoustie links.

Guests were even treated to a surprise appearance from Jean van de Velde, who joined Lawrie on-stage to discuss memories of their famous 1999 battle. The Open Limited Editions also proved a huge hit, with collectors jumping at the chance to purchase signed and personalised bottles

. A partnership with the Association of Golf Writers saw members of the media spend time enjoying the Loch Lomond Whiskies offering.
