• The Open Special Edition 2023 is crafted in the shadow of Ben Lomond, to celebrate the 151st Open at Royal Liverpool, England.

  Michael Henry, our master blender, has crafted this exceptional single malt with Colin Montgomerie to explore the influence of elegant Spanish Rioja Alta Reserva casks on the Loch Lomond signature style. A range of casks have been hand-selected by Michael for finishing in Rioja Alta Reserva to complement our signature distillery style with additional depth of flavour.

  These rich, exceptional red wine casks help create a whisky that has notes of red berry, orchard fruit and creamy vanilla with dark chocolate that complements the soft smoke on the finish. 

  Non chill-filtered, bottled at 46% and presented in a carton bearing Colin Montgomerie's signature.

  SHIPPING

  • Someone 21 years of age or older must be available to sign for any alcohol orders.
  • We cannot ship to a PO Box, including military bases, FedEx, UPS or Walgreens as they will not accept other local carriers' packages.
  • The estimated shipping time is 2-10 business days.
  • Fulfillment times are estimated at 2-5 business days. Tracking information will be sent to customers once fulfillment is completed unless one of the below conditions apply.
  • If your purchase includes any presale/preorder items, the order will be fulfilled once these items are available — please expect a delay. Fulfillment times will also vary if an item is backordered and will ship based on item availability.
  • All sales are final - No returns or exchanges. Shipping carriers will make up to three (3) delivery attempts. If you cannot accept delivery during these attempts, the product will be returned to us. If you would like us to reship your order, an additional $40 fee will be applied.
