Loch Lomond 12 year old is crafted in the shadow of Ben Lomond, using our unique Straight Neck stills and more traditional Swan Neck Stills, before being aged in three varieties of American Oak casks - bourbon, refill and re-charred.
Bottled at 46% and non-chill filtered to keep things as nature intended. This perfectly balanced expression is brought together by Michael Henry, our Master Blender, whose signature on each bottle is our personal assurance of quality.

I opened the bottle to share a dram with my daughter who is visiting from New Zealand. We both loved it! The whisky has a delicate and subtle aroma and is very smooth and is so easy to drink. An absolute gem of a whisky which rests easy on the palate with no harshness or burning after taste. Definitely in my top ten of favourites.

I am sure the whisky will be fantastic when it eventually arrives. You should consider using a different delivery company. DPD keep changing delivery days whilst saying I've requested the change - which I haven't.
Bought as a present
A little disappointing. I was expecting it to be a bit smoother. It’s a little harsh and tastes a bit more like a gauche youngster, and I’m glad it’s not a day younger than 12 years. That said, I’d prefer this result than to putting it through chill filtering! Still, I’d go for Loch Lomond Inchmurrin instead where you get both flavour and smoothness.
Very palatable, whisky. I must learn to pour smaller measures, as I drank my first bottle in less than a week. Now on my second bottle, and have managed to use just 50ml.

I've never tried a single malt scotch before. I've always bought the supermarket bottles that cost around £15-20. I thought I'd try this after watching several YouTube videos, and I'm sorry to say, I really hated it. I'm sure it's just me, but this tasted similar to something I clean my paint brushes with. Thankfully, I won't be buying any more. I've drunk down to the top of the label, and it's now at the back of a cupboard. However, this is no criticism of the distillery. My order was shipped fast and well-packed. This whisky just wasn't for me.

Loch lomond keeps hitting the right spots for me this 12yr is the third expression I've had and they constantly score high in my personal tasting notes. I still have several on my shelf waiting to be tried but so far the 153 open, Incmoan and this 12yr have been excellent.
