To mark the 180th anniversary of The Glasgow Academy, we are delighted to present a very special limited-edition release of Loch Lomond 18 Year Old Single Malt.
Aged for 18 years in our finest oak barrels, this single malt whisky is full-bodied and rounded with a deep fruity character. With wonderful sweetness and warmth intertwined with a hint of smoke.
Green apple and grapefruit aromas fuse on the nose, followed by notes of honeysuckle and mature oak . On the palate, elegant wood notes of toasted oak and cigar box, evolve into green fruits like apple and gooseberry. The finish is long and balanced with dried tea and tobacco leaf, complemented by soft medicinal peatiness and wood smoke.
