Loch Lomond Peated Single Grain Scotch Whisky is made exclusively from heavily peated malted barley in the malt room at the Loch Lomond Distillery. It is then matured in a combination of first and refill bourbon casks which delivers a soft fruity character with creamy vanilla and wisps of smoke.

Award Winning Whisky
Loch Lomond Whisky are proud to be awarded the highest award in whisky standards. Below are a few select awards from our whiskies.
Excellent communication and prompt delivery, in my opinion this peated single grain whisky compares very well with the far more expensive Islay single malts, this is my sixth bottle!!!
A repeat order and a permashelf whisky for me; this presentation offers a unique flavour profile which apparently I can't get enough of. I particularly love the jammy blackcurrant and clove notes with the subtlety of peat undertones.....an excellent quality and moreish whisky. Well done Loch Lomond!
Haven't actually tried this one yet as I still have unopened bottles from previous orders. Let's just say I've never been disappointed by any of Loch Lomond's whiskies.
I first had the LL single grain peated when it was presented in a black and green tube. The move to a re-branded cardboard box is a marketing mistake in my opinion. No longer do we have the 'Floral & Smoky Non-chill filtered' proudly displayed, now it's 'Grainstorm fruit & smoke'. The tasting notes are also different; gone are blackcurrant, vanilla and clove replaced by soft fruity character with creamy vanilla and a wisp of smoke. Thankfully the whisky remains at 46% ABV and is still NCF. The all important whisky is apparently unchanged, but alas I'm not getting those jammy notes anymore. Sorry Loch Lomond - I love your whisky just not your re-branding!
This is my 5th bottle of this whisky, in my opinion it's better than any of the many single malt whiskies that I have tried in the similar price range,it has a good peated flavour comparing well with the Islay whiskies and it has a rounded smooth finish. My only complaint is that the bottle empties too soon. I look forward to opening the bottle of the "Original" that I purchased at the same time
This is my first experience of Loch Lomond whiskies and what a great introduction it's been. The single grain peated is a delightful dram full of jammy berries and cloves with that signature gentle smoke. Having just returned from a week's break it was the one bottle I was missing the most. I've already bought a 12 year old Louis Oosthuizen limited edition which I can't wait to try.
This is the 5th bottle that I have bought of this whisky l believe that it rivals many of the more expensive single malts it has a good peated flavour and smooth finish. I look forward to trying your unpeated single grain which I purchased on my latest order
